    I switched from dish a month ago. The directv PQ is noticeably better on my 65" Sony. My hr44 has been fine so far. Don't miss the H3 with all its bugs and the PQ is so much better, especially for sports.

    The H3 has only one at the bottom of the guide. You can set it display ads or tips, but can't turn it off. I frankly rarely notice it.

    Agreed. No macroblocking on mine, but the full court camera view is soft. I have H3 with a sony xbr65850c.

    I have my main TV connected with hdmi and a second tv connected via component. Works fine as only one is ever on at a time.

    The cable that came with my H3 says High-Speed on it. It's molded in one side of each plug housing.

    Not true. It will work fine on non-4k TVs.

    Mine works like the others. H3 will turn on TV, but won't turn off TV. Turning off TV won't turn H3 off either. So, it seems to work right when powering on, but to power off you still have to manually power each off separately.

    I like it. Had mine since release. I use it on my main tv in the living room and I have a 40.0 that I use in my office. I like the 52.0 better.

    DVR Menu sorting?

    I always had my HWS group shows by type, so H3 is no different in that regard for me. I then sort by episode number so the recordings are in order from older to newer. It sounds like you don't want the same shows grouped together? I don't think that's possible.
