    Will Locals work on a projector?

    I am using a NEC vt47 and rgb/component connection in my bar and get the locals fine........you should have no problems. Hope we will still have VOOM for awhile longer. Superbowl Sunday at least!!!

    I really like VOOM so far and all of my friends are impressed. No billing problems so far.The Rush channel and Rave are my favorites.     CSR told me they had around 40,000 subcribers Last Thursday 40000 subcribers is the number that I got from CSR . I like VOOM so far except they could drop a channel or two and add some that are worth watching . Twenty locals and reception 97 with no rain fade so far.

    Grey letterbox bars distracting.

    It is my TV. I found the manual and it says that they are grey bars while watching 16:9 hdtv. I will have to make a masking system or some type of cover or just live with it. I have an excellent picture ,it would not make sense to buy a wide screen for this problem . Thanks guys !!

    I tried the advance setting on the video and do not have that option.Just aspect ratio,ultra AI and color temp ,ETC. Nothing on the VOOM STB will change it either that I have seen yet.
