I had this happen too when they did not do my install correctly. They used the existing copper platted steal. It is not compatible for SWM they had to replace the wire with solid coper center conductor I believe the tech called it.

The only way really to save any money with Time Warner Cable service is to bundle all three services. Which is Digital Phone, High Speed Internet, and TV Service. If you do not get all three then satellite is going to be the cheapest.

Only bad part about this is that some High Def TVs do not have HDMI inputs. They are usually the small picture or low budget TV's that do not have HDMI but component. So it means that some people will have to upgrade their TV's to ones that have HDMI inputs.
