Trouble in Dishland.... Same here in Hawaii - All channels except for the Dish Network info 100 and 101... been on hold for over 45 mins now.....

two dish Hawaii HD? is it possible with a HI Classic Silver 200 with Hawaii HD package (two dishes looking at 110 and 119, one slightly larger than the other), to move one of the dishes toward the 129 direction to see if a check switch will find any of the 129 HD programs?

Looks like they should be on now!! I have not verified this, but according to today's uplink report all those new HD's should now be on. Oh Happy Day!:hatsoff:

Yes - and.... perhaps by May 8 we may see a few more HD's. They were moved to ConUS vs Spot's. This frees up some Spots. Soon Soon ;)

I'm wondering the same thing. And.... Uplink Report 12/3/08 for 5523 BRAVO N/A as well as 5526 ABCFM N/A ? So we have possibly four HD channels that could become active "Soon" ;)

Overall - I'm a satisfied customer here in Paradise... Do I wish I had more HD "You Betcha", but I really like the PQ of Dish and their equipment is a much better fit for the way we view our family programming. That said, what I just can't seem to understand is why an over 30 hour outage of...

May not be completely true - I have read on another board that they were able to get a "waiver" between the Local NBC KHNL station and DirectTV for NBC local DMA out of the west coast, so as to get the Super Bowl in HD - How true this is, I cannot verify (I have Dish).

More an issue with KHNL then with Dish... psedwar - This really isn't an issue with Dish as DirectTV is also having issues with KHNL. The main issue is that the only KHNL xmitter is sitting on the Makakilo ridge, and it's a flat panel direct shot straight towards Honolulu. I believe the...
