We have a TCL Roku TV.....Watched the Super Bowl that way.....it was nice but certainly not a huge improvement over HD for me. My local Hockey team is now broadcasting its games in 4k on one of the Directv 4k channels....not sure if that enough of an incentive to upgrade my equipment...still...

Noticed that also. Saturday night is a double header with the Avs and Nuggets both playing about the same time. One of those would be on 681-1. In the past, the DTV guide info for 681-1 would be very late in appearing. Or....maybe 681-1 is a separate negotiation...LOL

A deal has been made between Altitude and Directv tonight....the channel is back up.....It looks like its only between Altitude and Directv and does not include Dish or comcast.

They still have agreements with a few, small cable/fiber outlets around Colorado, but the viewership numbers in those areas is pretty small. My local cable service has Altitude in its lineup. I find it interesting when people talk about how expensive DTV is.....I did some checking on our own expenses over the years. In 2009 our avg monthly DTV bill was around $106. Last year it was $105. Those numbers include, Sports, NHL Center Ice, Sunday Ticket and a large ($60- $70) monthly...

I believe 11a3 was a CE....Weekend nights are when CE's are usually released. Best to avoid CE's unless your willing to deal with some issues....Weekday nights are when NR's are in the stream...usually...

1104 is doing what the previous version(1088) did...that is it does not show all recordings in the playlist. I have an hr24 that will show all recordings. When I do the "test" of the hr44, it restores all recordings to the list...pretty strange behavior....no rhyme or reason to the recordings...

You might try this...Hold down the "Mute" and "Select" buttons on the remote, then press 9-6-3 then "Channel Down", remote leds at the top will blink 4 times if you do it right. This action cancels the remote from sending an "ID" signal to the HR with every push of a remote key. This speeds up...

If you have'nt tried these already maybe they would help, it did on my HR20: 1) Do a "Menu Reset" of the HR20 2) On your remote,press and hold the "SELECT" and "MUTE" buttons. Wait for the Green lights at the top of your remote to blink twice. Then enter" 963" ,then press "CHANNEL DOWN"...

If you are really getting DTV,then why not let them install their DECA system? Being a new customer to them ,you will probably get the install for free. DECA means less wires and only 1 internet hookup is needed(thru an ICK) My 2 cents

This is my pet peeve. WHY did DTV make this feature this way. Why does it turn off at all? If you don't like it just don't bother using the RED button. If you are on a sports channel then this feature is something that is very useful and doesn't need to be turned off. I use it and do get annoyed...

Remember only about 2% of the programming is 1080p(Mostly PPV)

Glad YOU figured it out, but shouldn't the installer have had everything working before he left? Now a second trip to your house is needed.
