I am in upstate NY. So you say all I need is 61.5 & 72? Why the heck is dish saying 110/119 & 125?

A few years ago, from what I can recall, there was a big change from 110/119 & 61.5 to 61.5 72 & 77. I had my installer come in and setup a Dish 1000 and he could only get 61.5 & 72; I knew I lost some channels but just never had the chance to follow up... The kids were not complaining and I...

I repointed 61.5 to 129 per all the hype, now all the HD Locals (New York City) are gone. Should I have added a 4th dish for 129 rather than repoint?

Does anyone have information the availability of wireless broad band (cell phone carriers I'm assuming) while underway on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway? All coverage maps from Canadian and American providers stop on the shore line!

My LNBs are pointed at 110, 119 and 61.5 for Charlie, how much of a change would it be if I did the install myself for D? I would need new receivers and a new switch, anything else?

DirecTv is looking better and better. :rant: I called in yesterday; the best answer was that I would get the Platinum pack free for three months. I pay for TV, I watch FX all the time, but 10% off for three months is suposed to rectivy the problem. Looks like I am DirecTv bound.

Did you talk to the seller? I'd say there was a mix-up; what would he gain by reporting it stolen? If he is a jerk buy something cheap from the seller and then ream him on the rating.

I have had Harmony 860 (upstairs) and 1000 (living room) for a long time. The best feature is that my wife can operate the entire entrainment system by pushing one button on the Harmony... the only issue for me has been the amount of time to program the units with my multi-room single receiver...
