This is the satellite that you should be aiming at (with your dish pointing straight south). Once you get this one coming in well, than you should be close to viewing most if not all of the arc. With some tweaks here and there.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to check to voltage setting on the ASC1. Because you said you hadn't changed anything in the receive, but some how the lnb settings change to 5750 from 5150. Just food for thought.

Again, I believe The ASC1 has a way to control the voltage output on the Coax, If it is set to a fixed voltage say 13volts than you would not be able to receive the Horizontals. I assume you unplugged the ASC1 for a min or so?

that is an oddity. see if your dish moved. #2 remove the 22khz switch and scan again.

I guess I should have ask if you tried unplugging it for a few minutes, and than seeing if it starts working again? If that's a no go, than try what primestar31 suggested

that's not good. I see you have a ASC-1, I believe there is a setting that will let you set the voltage out for the lnb. Just like the Receiver, You might check that as well. I don't have one, so I could be speaking out my butt.

Have you checked the ku band, to see if your getting both H and V. If your only getting verticals on the ku. I would guess it's a power issue with the reciever.

First thing to check is under tuner setting. Voltage mode should be set to Polarization. If it is than your lnb power output is probably going bad, only giving you 13v and not switching to 18v for the Horizontals.

Sounds like your only getting 13v. I assume you have an LNBF(voltage switched polarity)

Check in tuner setup. See if you have the C-band set to 5750, should be 5150

Those numbers don't look right. Looks like the c-band is band stacking. He's only getting one Polarity

when I had my 7.5 up, I was able to get both reading around 10 or 11dbs. I believe my feedhorn may not be 100% centered, I just don't know.

IF you can get 101w, set your sat finder so it reads around 8 or 9 ( when a channel is coming in). And than slowly move your dish over to 99w, the squeak box should start to drop than move back up when your on the sat. Maybe higher or lower than the 8 or 9 that you had on 101w. I would try to...

I'll try to post some signals later. I did find one on 89w and almost pooped myself, the signal was reading 20dbs ATL HDENC18 @ 4192 H 2045 3/4. It's strong enough that it bleeds over to 91w and reads 11dbs.
