    1st day for Hopper. Expected long wait for CSR and delay for installation. After the "normal(?) push 1 for english" and this or that number for something else, it took about 60 seconds for a real person and the Hopper and 3 Joeys will be installed tomorrow! Unbelievable. :)

    Here in Palm Springs, our local FOX,:-(, provides HD to TWC; but not over the air or to Dish. Shouldn't that a anti trust violation?

    3D VIP

    Thanks toto; but I have decided to go with passive 3D. My wife is subject to migraine headaches. I can see spending about 1G, for the VIP set up and then having to replace it. That would be about 2G; but would be a permeated solution.

    I own a Sony KDL-52XBR5. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the owner's manual. I sort of suspect this set will not meet the 60/120 but I don't know for sure. I would love to order a 3D VIP, but don't know if it would work. E-mail to the manufacture has not answered the question. Can anyone...

    Wife doesn't want to wear 3D glasses. I have seen 3D sets, that without glasses, look like normal HD and others that have a double image, like a movie theater. Can anyone explain the difference? :confused:

    I am sure the UFL hopes there are some fans out there. Going head to head, last year, with the NFL in SFO and NYC was not a good plan. Cities without a NFL team might work.
