    You still have to pay receiver fees even if you own them. There are no fees for the first receiver, but there is for additional receivers

    I would use rg11 coax or at the least solid copper rg6 to help eliminate possible voltage drop. That being said it may work fine as is because of the switch having a separate power source from the receiver.
