Yes a read about that. I have Brighthouse cable and we have Heretv as a channel. Dish needs to add as a channel as those PPV fees add up using their on demand option.

Well my TIVO Premiere annual subscription ends in November. I'm not going to renew if this new K77 DVR turns out to be the all-in-one DVR we all hope it will be.

Yeah the high cost of TIVO equipment and fees is a negative for sure. If this new K77 has a good OTA tuner (hopefully 4 tuners) and more apps for streaming I will be eager to get one. That would put CM closer than ever to TIVO, without the high costs involved.

I just got Bright House installed 3 weeks ago. I requested the latest and greatest HD DVR and got the Cisco 8742HDC model. The equipment itself works great. High quality picture in HD. The software for the programming guide needs a professionally developed remake but the DVR functions work well.

They really need to upgrade the software to make the programming guide more user friendly and easier to read. Just coming from being a Dish customer for many years and their excellent DVR software, it is rather a let down to see BH hasn't developed a good DVR programming guide.
