Reading a lot of issues with this particular receiver not playing nice with the HR24s. It is IMO the best receiver in my sub $600 price range but if it cannot live with the HR 24 then I need to know before I buy it :) Thanks.

Dish may indeed be working on a similar solution. The real question is: A) Will Dish continue to charge up to $17 a month per unit for leased hardware? B) Will Dish change their 3 unit lease maximum? C) Will they charge more than the $3 per month that DTV charges for MRV?

Good point! I did receive a nice discount on my ST/Premiere package and would probably do that every year if possible. The problem is that the promo is a 6 month price and when you average it out over the year, it is still considerably more than the $7 a month I paid for Redzone. That said...
