I had the same problem with an ota module in a 222k. I swapped out the module and had same results. I finally concluded there was something wrong with my receiver. It would run real hot with module in it. I connected ota directly to TV and it gets all channels perfectly. Posted Via The FREE...

It is apples to oranges for me. My OTA is far superior on my 55" screen. All my ota channels have 3 sub channels each.

I got cnn and msnbc locked out and threw away the key.

I just always would rather do it all myself. I been able to upgrade to new receivers thru ebay dealers for about half of what dish wanted for them. I don't need dvr capability, so with only 2 tv's all i pay is just price for channel package. Although I did buy in to the HD for life promo for $99.

Just wondering how people opted out of locals and have a grandfathered account. I opted out because i have outside antennas for locals. I do realize though if i ever change packages i will have to pay for locals.
