Put up an antenna for locals and get a smart tv.....tons of stuff on there for free. I regret not cutting the cord sooner.

WTAJ (CBS) 10.1 added Escape 10.2 and LAFF 10.3 here in the Johnstown/Altoona market. WTAJ will also be adding Grit down the road that is currently on WJAC 6.4

I would like to have Get TV. I saw it on Dish when visiting family and I liked it a lot.

WTAJ is adding Bounce, Escape, and Laff. Glad to see nexstar finally come around, and fingers crossed maybe GET TV down the road. That is the one I want most.

There is nothing showing up and no list for 29.3 on my converter box. Youtoo's signal was out since last fall so thank goodness they replaced it with something good. Every station in my area now has subchannels except for WTAJ owned by Nexstar.....surprise surprise.

WHVL has Buzzr on 29.2 so hopefully Youtoo is history. It was a nice surprise to find this channel.

GRIT is returning in mid February on 6.4

A friend told me today laff is showing up on dish network......Maybe I missed it but I did not hear about it until today.

Just got Antenna TV this week on 23.4 and its a good channel. Instead of GRIT/ESCAPE being two different channels they should have put the programming into one. I always thought Luken should have condensed his programming as well.

Hello, I checked out WWCP's facebook page. Maybe it has something to do with Atlantic Broadband....doesnt Antenna TV require cable carriage?

Just an update Antenna TV wont be on 8.3 as planned, but on 23.4 so I wont be needing a VHF antenna after all. I was going to wait till spring so I did not waste any money. If they do decide to put anything on 8.3 I know what to buy. Thanks!

We gained Grit on WJAC 6.3 early this month, and now Antenna TV is coming to 8.3 WWCP in April. No need for cable anymore. ;)

Thanks for the info guys. The current preamp is a CM UHF so I will purchase a new RCA that can connect each antenna. I will order the antenna you suggested as well and let you know how it works once installed.

Since my DMA has no CW dish network did broadcast the Pittsburgh CW but I cancelled due to the price increases. WPCW did put a repeater in the Johnstown area, but not Altoona. You cant beat the picture of an OTA signal. :)
