....good lord. The Searchers exists in many different forms. Various different masters and transfers. TCM is and HD channel, but they do not yet transmit any HD content. None. Zero. Zilch.

DirecTV resolves disputes. Dish does not.

The difference is that DirecTV will reach a deal, while Dish will find a way to end up in court...as usual.

Who is against it? Educated customers, that's who. People who understand that it would cost them more, that they would receive fewer channels, and what they label as their favorite would likely die or be diminished significantly. Dish only beat DirecTV once in twelve years. That was before the recent issues. DirecTV will easily beat them once again.
