Per the person I just chatted with, the Uplink Center is down. Atlanta, GA and no locals. Really wish I could watch the NBC taped delayed Olympics right now. Guess I'll have to watch it on-line.

Any thinking that part of the problem might be NBC's refusal to carry events in real time? Even though the BBC's webpage is full of photos from the opening ceremonies, my family in Canada talks about the lovely event that they saw, NBC would have us believe that nothing won't start until 7:30...

Just wanted to vent that I was not able to see the Braves clinch their first playoff spot in several years because of this dispute.

Since Atlanta's PBS station is different from the state-wide one and both are "local" channels for me, I really hope this means that I'll finally get to at least enjoy the HD quality of some of the PBS programming my kids, and therefore I, enjoy watching.
