    Dual lead XM antenna to single input receiver?

    If that was a link, it doesn't show up in my browser. I found custom cables to connect the dual cable antenna to the single input Pioneer XM receiver. Am I correct that the only signal I need from the antenna is the satellite signal, and the terrestrial wire is no longer necessary to hook up?
