Update : both 612's are still doing this. I have noticed that the problem goes away when I turn off the closed captioning.

I had a receipt and an email from Dish, saying it was received, but my Dish Account didn't show it, and I was being charged for unreturned receiver. Contacted MaryB with the Dirt team and she got it straightened out quickly.

I have noticed that CC recorded from OTA frequently has about every other line unreadable.

Why do we only check the transponders listed in the Excel File? For example, My AMC channel has been dropping in and out, but according to "the list" it is on Satellite 72.7 Transponder 32. I realize this post is a year and a half old. Have things changed?

A few weeks ago Dish moved all the Chinese channels from the 600-700 range up to the 9900's.Haven't seen it mentioned on this forum. Anyone know why?

I'll have to wait until the Hopper has OTA or Dish decides to give Knoxville our local PBS in HD. For now I'll keep my 612 with OTA and enjoy PBS in recorded HD.

Just went through an April 27 hailstorm that did extensive damage to my area. I need new roof, gutters, siding, vegetable garden and '96 Taurus. My Winegard OTA is now severely arthritic, but my Dish 1000.4 and wing dish survived intact and receiving the same signal strength as before.
