So just to update, it's not the speakers or the wiring. The amplifier is on the way out. Seems as though it's losing the ability to determine which audio format is coming from the source and properly decode it.

It's been awhile since I checked but iirc I get about 35 or 40 down. There are newer powerline/moca adapters now that are much faster than that but they're a little pricier.

Yeah 7694P. I believe it pulled in 59 channels when I ran the scan. Channel 18 has like 5 sub-channels, Channel 14 has 12, plus Channel 31/38 etc.

It comes in pixellated in the garage. No signal anywhere else. Really all I care about are the big 4 and pbs so it's not an issue.

No noticeable signal degradation on uhf.

Amazon delivered the Winegard today. Had it installed and up and running within an hour. I'm seeing about a 30 point gain in signal strength on vhf. Thanks everyone.

Will update with results when it's installed. My neighbors are in Florida until May. As far as I can recall he has 6 TV's in addition to my 2 tuner tablo and additional 5 TV's. So 12 separate feeds.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Gonna go ahead and try the Winegard mentioned above. Don't really wanna have to deal with 2 separate antennas and a combiner.

I know there's a few of us on here. Currently I have a diginova boss on the garage roof. No complaints except for Fox2. It's always been an issue dating back to the days I was installing these things for Dish. I would say 75 % of the time it's fine, and the rest of the time it's not. I can go on...

I don't have dish any more and I'm still using HIC's to extend my network. They work great. Just put an hic where the hopper was in the diagram and use the rj45 port to an Ethernet switch.

It's worked well for me so far with one exception. I got that same error message, but the commercial skip worked fine on another channel recording at the same time, and something on the same channel in the next time slot worked fine. Overall not a big deal, more of a curiosity to me.

Just looking and it seems the "firetv" has been replaced with the Firetv Cube or whatever they call it. So now the options are Cube or Stick?

They will accomplish the same thing and have the same functionality, however, the Firetv is a bit larger and has a faster processor. I personally prefer it to the stick, although I was disappointed when they eliminated the Ethernet port on the firetv. Using the adapter works fine but it's an...

I think tablo just went back and grandfathered existing subs back to the lifetime transferable subscription. They sent me an email the other day. Also I have had really good success with the remote viewing on my dual tuner Tablo. Didn't see anyone mention that but I could have missed it.

I believe there's been a 7 second delay in live television and radio broadcasts for quite some time. IIRC it was an issue after the Janet Jackson nipple "slip" during the halftime show of Super Bowl whatever it was.
