    I waved goodbye to dish about a month ago and haven't regretted it much since. Sure there are a few channels I miss but not enough to go back paying their prices for the stuff. It was definitely liberating to hang up the phone after telling them to shut it off!

    LOL, he can't. They fired him as a retailer a few years ago and they wouldn't let him back...ever! He's butt hurt and that's why we have to put up with his continual trashing. He'll tell you it wasn't his fault and Dish was just out to get him, but I think we all know the truth by now!

    Enjoy your different provider. Might we suggest reading fully and completely the new providers contract before you sign so that when the same thing happens with them you will know why.

    Umm...Why would Dish not having HBO/Cinemax have an effect on whether there is a price increase or not? They are premium channels of which you pay extra for if you want them and not a part of any of the actual Dish packages.
