An old problem has returned - if a recording is in progress and is paused in one room, resuming in another room jumps it to Live. Doesn’t matter whether the original pause was on the Hopper or a Joey. Any suggestions?

A glitch found already - watching a program from Saturday, paused at roughly 1:40 of 2:00. Went back 10 seconds while paused, then hit pause to unpause. Needed two presses and then it suddenly jumped to the :51 point, which is where I had started watching from. This was on a Joey.

Yesterday I forced 527 and then 528 appeared this morning. Interesting - I didn’t see any guide difference with 527, but do now. Seems to be greater contrast, rather than actually sharper

I am getting regular breakups, especially on cbs in the morning. It’s the AirTV one, and might very well be my older outdoor antenna. Should I rescan? Haven’t since replacing my old 1-tuner

I dropped Locals for OTA a month or so ago and have never had Autohop work since. It’d be nice to still have, but I like the $10 in my pocket each month even more. But I’ll do some testing...

I had that same problem and actually haven’t tried lately. Just use my iPhone to the Apple TV. But I’ll test it tomorrow and post.

Just tested with last week’s Modern Family. Confirmed that if you drop Dish locals, you lose Autohop. Not a big deal. I’d rather have my $10/month

It will go to 5.1, but you have to use the guide for .2, etc. not a problem.

All done! My AirTV is in place. All timers revised and cancelled Dish Locals today. Echoing someone else’s comment - without this site and you all, I never would have even known about this possibility. Thanks.

Got my AirTV today. Everything looks fine, including the distant stations. Will do some test recordings tonight before I change all my timers and cancel the Dish locals.

Currently, with the original Dish OTA adapter, I am getting several stations away from the Valley. I live around 64th St and Cactus, not high up, but my guide includes 6 PBS Tucson, 7 KAZT Prescott, 9 KGUN Tucson, 18 KTTU Tucson, along with a few others. But these all are quite watchable and...

I'm not worried about rescanning. I already get Tucson stations from where I am in Scottsdale (roughly 90 miles). Can't imagine I'd get anything else. It would be cool to try to get LA or Vegas, but really don't think so.

Just thought of something. When I drop Locals for OTA only, do I lose Primetime Anytime? Not a great loss, and might even help with my HD space. problems. Just wondering.
