I tried it. Having same problems. I see my channels, but nothing will play. Play button shows but when I press it, nothing.

Dish says that error 05 and 04 means that something happened to to disrupt the recording. The weather was fine those nights. I did reset the Hopper. No change. We will track this issue. We didn't get these errors with the 722.

Weird, 63 people viewed this post and no one replied? What does that mean? Does that mean no one knows about or is experiencing these error codes but me? Just curious.

The last few days, I have over a 1/2 dozen error codes 05 and 04 (mostly 05) from recorded tv shows. For now, all the recording with these error messages are all after PTAT times (late at night). I can't play these DVR shows and also they won't delete. 1H/2J. Any ideas?

Yes, I am recording something at the time of this occurrence. I never turn off the hopper (as I never turned off the 722). Should I be powering down the Hopper when I finish watching from there? What about the joeys? Don't they rely on the hopper to be running>

Thanks Jay. I actually thought of that, too. I didn't bounce my TV but did change input from a couple things and back to the HDMI cable. I will keep bouncing the TV in mind if it happens again. When I reset the Joey settings and it fixed the problem, I really didn't think the TV was in the...
