I did a trace route last night, and I just ran one a little while ago, it goes over to Minnesota, then Illinois, and then some unfamiliar IP addresses. I also just tried a proxy server, the page loads are are fast! My computer is just fine! It is more then likely routing issues, between me...

The server responded with an error. The error message is in the JavaScript console. I get this when trying to create a new topic, or reply, and sometimes out of the blue waiting for things to hopefully go through.

I am still having page loading issues. Pms are very hard to get to, and start. What browser does this forum prefer?

Unfortunately due to the xenforo forum, I can't get to PM's The pages barely load as it is. I have tried to change dns servers many times, and still have issues with getting this forum to load. Starting, or creating a PM ends me up on a blank white page. It doesn't matter what browser I use.

As you can see here, people that speak up about things here get crucified, and dissed. How do I know I won't get harassed if I say what one it was? As far as posts being edited, I hope that isn't being abused, because it sure seems like it again.

I posted nothing derogatory( you let your personal feelings over ride being impartial ), you don't know anything why I mentioned "iceberg" in the first place. Send the original comment in a PM. Every moderation action is logged, I know how forums work, since I use to have one on pro boards.

Is this another unmentioned rule? I mentioned that persons screen name, otherwise how would anyone know who it was? Anyways At this point I have no idea what is even acceptable to post anymore. I would appreciate it if my posts are kept the way I put them.

I remember when I asked for a different account to be deleted, I ended up with an account ban :facepalm which isn't the same as deleting! So the lesson here is be careful what you wish for.

HA! Good one:biggrin....Oddly enough it seems to be true. I just changed the dns servers, as I was using the ISP one. After I changed the dns servers, I did notice a slight improvement, so I still blame comcast.

Ok great! Then it is more likely comcast's fault, as I don't know what the problem is, since it is the same on all browsers I have tried. If AT&T didn't go backwards dumping DSL ( 6MBs down ) and forcing UVerse ( 3MBs down ) I would have switched over.

Since it is all good for everyone else, I suspect that I maybe purposely throttled here...I would appreciate it if the throttling could be lifted.

Linux mint 17 hasn't been keeping up with browser updates. the current version of firefox on it is 30 the current version is 34.0.5 I just tried the new version, and there is a slight improvement in loading, but not by much of a margin.

Are you on comcast? i just reset my modem and router, no go, it won't even load at all in firefox now.

I tried it on the opera browser, that one it doesn't even load at all on, the chromium browser for linux is slightly better then firefox, but not by much. I tried it on proxy server and the website really flies.

I would recommend a UPS unit instead, that way it is protected during brown outs, and those pesky quick power drops.

Yes people have answered, the consensus is either pay to talk politics, or talk about it some where else...I try to point out that it really isn't the greatest policy to gain pub members, and some how I am chasing my tail...:facepalm

Let me answer the part in red in Spanish for you NO! The part I highlighted in blue, that is really a poor fix, it doesn't make me want to become a pub member.

I can go back and search my comment history to find those comments, hopefully that doesn't require a pub membership ;)....So political talk ended up being banned over some fruit cake arguing with themselves, and some to support their position more....Sounds like a warning, and banning those...

I won't pay for the sake of avoiding ads, if a person paid for every website just to read the news, or pay to avoid "some" ads, how much money would that person have left over? I would think below zero...
