I have the RVU setup working and my only complaint is the 30-45 seconds it takes for TV to kick in from a cold start. Otherwise it's pretty stable

The speed is ok.. From power button to first sight of video Takes about 15-20 secs. Ch chgs have a minor delay, nothing to complain about at all. Love where this is going. Should get better with the 2014 model (H5500) samsungs as they now offer a quad core processors over the 2013 (F5500)...

Nope, only paying ipvanish(the VPN). On the ipvanish website it's gives you instructions on how setup you're ddwrt router to use pptp/Ltpp/openvpn. I chose the openvpn route. You're router must also be flashed with a openvpn ddwrt version. It would say in the file name. I think the "big" or...

That's what I use. I took an old router flashed it with ddwrt openvpn version. Added my VPN providers "openvpn" credentials and placed the router in between my main router and the directv box. I use ipvanish.. They have ddwrt setup instructions with pictures! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
