One warning, TNT-HD, TBS-HD, Discovery HD, History HD, and A&E HD all stretch their SD programming. There are others, but I can't remember off hand.

I see it during Primetime programming. Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Cavemen, Dirty Sexy Money. It sounds like something is wrong with the audio. The rears, and the front L and R speakers are really low for 5.1 audio.

Nothing will improve the E* SD PQ on my LCD except for watching the SD version of a show on it's HD feed. The SD channels are bit starved. For example, the show PTI on ESPN and ESPN HD is an SD only show. When watching it on the SD feed it's a blurry mess and there is color bleeding all over...

There is a glitch in when it doesn't automatically stop the 2nd and 3rd program from recording. Not counting OTA, there are times when the guide will have 3 programs set to record without a conflict alert popping up. I haven't been able to reproduce 100%, but I have come across it.

Doesn't matter what program on WABC HD NY, they all have lip sync issues. The analog/SD feed is fine, other HD locals are good also. What is the dish quality email address so I can report this problem. Thanks in advance.

Someone at AVS has a contact and verified the Heat game was indeed being sent in HD. It was the worse HD telecast I ever seen. It looked like widescreen SD to me.

Pad everything yourself (manually). 2 minutes usually for scripted shows (Heroes, Grey's Anatomy etc..) does the trick. For sports add at least an 1 and a half minimum.

Correct, SNY-HD has been blank now since September.

I just said the same thing about the 721, 5 minutes ago to my friend. Unless the 722 goes down to $99 lease price (plus contract), i'll just wait for the box that succeeds the 722.

Why not? It would let Heroes record for 1:02 in full then let Journeyman record for a full 1:00.
