My grandmother (new customer) is signing up for Dish with Hopper 3. I'm chatting with CS for her, they are saying they offer the 50.0 voice/touch remote with the Hopper 3 (joeys will receive normal remote). Are they shipping these now or is the CS agent mistaken?

I received a return package from Dish and it mentioned I have to return the LNBF and switch. I'm not even sure if I actually own that equipment, since I had some Dish equipment long ago before I resubscribed in 2013 (with Hopper). My email for the equipment returns only mentions the 4 receivers...

Has anyone heard about an estimate on the release date? Also, for those of you that got Hopper 3's, is the upgrade free? What about for 4k Joeys?

I have a two hopper with sling two joey setup. I own one of the HWS. I read that Dish (from a email via the CTO) will eventually allow multi Hopper 3 installs with the upcoming DPH42 switch. I plan to upgrade to Hopper 3 since one of my leased HWS died. What do I do with the purchased one...

Right now I have two HWS, two joey (DPP44 switch, I get Internationals on WA). One of my HWS is purchased. Can I keep it and use it like a joey? Would I need a new dish/LNB?

Right now I have two HWS and two joey 1.0 leased from Dish. With the hopper 3, would I be better off with a single hopper 3 and 3 joeys? One of the HWS just had a drive failure so I would be looking to either replace it or trade all my stuff in for a new setup.

Would a Joey work connecting back to my home network over VPN? Assuming I have enough bandwidth over both connections.
