    Anyone else to carry Voom besides dish?

    I am a 'former' dish customer and also on the west coast. I really do not want to go back to dish but I want the voom channels. Has any one heard anything about any one else to carry voom 21??? I have comcast now and its horrible with only 2 HD stations (besides locals) HBO and Discovery.

    The Sci-Fi channel usually has good movies but I cant watch it. Way, way too many commercials.

    Yea, it does look cool. Hopefully someone will pick it up. There are 2 horror stations from star Choice (shadow & scream I think are there names)...it sucks that here in the good ole US, we dont have any...(well after the 30th anyway)

    BEV and PVR (which one to use)???

    I work at pinnaclesys.com and liquid edition 6.1 comes with a component breakout box. And this does support capture of HD via RGB. Also another option is a HD-VCR (JVC HMDH30000U for example) where HD is captured via IEEE (Some TV's have IEEE out connection). However I have not tried either...

    True, there is no option. the only thing that comes close to voom is C-Band (without voom 21 of course), but most of us are resricted from installing a 8 to 10 foot dish in our yards... so much for competition in the market place...once again another FCC joke. Pathetic

    Dish Quality ?

    Dish quality is horrible, period! There SD (and it only carries 5 or so HD channels (for 10 bucks more of course)) looks like a bad SVCD, blocky, blurry, and always loss of audio video sync.

    I had E* and the SD quality is horrible. HD wasn't too bad, but 10 bucks more it costs for 4 or 5 stations.... a waist of money, especially after seeing voom.
