thanks for the replies,tried an eastern arc but some large trees interfered with sat 77.went to a western arc and its ok unless the weather is bad.so really I just wanted to try a wing dish out of boredom.just day dreaming I suppose. thanks

keep getting the "please insert smart card" message on my 211z receiver.i pull the card reinsert it,sometimes that works most of the time I wont.reboot the receiver a few times then im back in business.what causes this...

man my inlaws might be into that.can owned equipment be activated or would they have to buy new? thanks

thanks guys,she has a newer tv with HDMI port so thats good,i was just gonna buy a 211z off of amazon then call in and have it activated.just wanted to make sure the old lnbs were compatible with new receivers. cheers
