But the fact that it is in such high demand and being talked about so often must mean something for directv. I've never really seen a channel wanted this badly before. I can imagine Directv employees are asked about the network several times a day.

If you know anybody who's address you can use in the U.S then that would be your best bet. Also not sure if this would 100% work but I really can't see why not: Buy a Directv receiver and a satellite from a third party website online and call Directv up and tell them you want to sign up and...
