Two days after I sent the Genie back via UPS because that is what the email said to do, I get a letter saying I don't have to even return the Genie, just recycle it. That was dumb!

The email specifically asked for only the Genie by serial number...

Canceled DirecTV and they sent an email, all they want back is the Genie.... Can anyone use the 2 regular minis and the Wireless Mini and the bridge or do I just throw them away?

Funny you say that, the power did just go out three days after I got it because a tree came down on the power lines, FIOS was still up because it is underground in my area, but once my UPS's died it was all gone as was DirecTV.... Still funny how people in that other forum are bashing FIOS...

Another thing that is nice that I wished DirecTV had done was being able to see/delete/add any recordings or season series from the Web and/or the App on the Phone.

Already running them side by side until everyone in the household watches all items on the Genie and I can't tell a difference in picture quality at all! Neither can anyone else in the family. And another plus is when a big storm pushed through here yesterday, Satellite was lost, FIOS was...

I finally got the guide the other day. Will take a little getting used to but I like it so far. Doesn't really matter as soon as all shows are watched I will be dumping DirecTV for Fios since they are finally in my area. So have to get used to a new interface anyway.

That happens to me sometimes on my sports team, it also happens on things I did a search on and set it to record. When I notice things aren't going to record I just restart the genie and then it starts recording them again.

I've noticed it on my local CW station only so far, screen just goes black for a second. Noticed it on Supergirl and DC Legends of Tomorrow so far...

5/23: Chicago Justice (NBC) canceled after 1 season.

I thought we could download from our playlist to take it with us.... I don't see that option anywhere.... Most are to download on demand.

Every now and then my Sports Team Auto record and the Auto Record Searches seem to stop picking stuff up. Usually a reboot or two will resolve the situation (this is with a HR44 though).

Royal Pains (USA) will end with a short (8-episode) 8th season, which debuts on May 18...

So, does that mean it wipes out your Series Links as well?

Have a Samsung UN75F7100AF where the bottom 1/4 of the screen is dark. Still under a warranty with The Big Screen Store. They are offering replacing to replace it with the UN75JU7100, I just have to pay $500.00. Does that sound like a good deal?

I believe Double Play records on two tuners when you activate it, so you can switch from one to the other and pause, rewind etc...

You're the Worst Season 2 starts September 9, but moves from FX to FXX so if you had a series recording for FX instead of "All Channels" it will not pick it up.

This also happens with the "Play Next" feature. If you let it start the next show and stop it, it doesn't pick up where you left off.

Could it be a difference between an "All Channels" series recording and one just set up to record on a Local CBS station? I've seen "All Channels" series miss ones before, when I see that happen I usually delete the "All Channels" and make sure I go to the station it is on and set it up on just...
