Also forgot...the preamp is basically direct connect...maybe 2 inches..then to RG-11. The antenna is homebrew folded dipole with corner reflector. I can wind a 1.25:1 balun if I have issues ...thats how the 440 is matched to the 440 radio. Not sure what core to use at 1.7Ghz...LOL!!!!

Yea...got a handle on all that...will have a ton of mis-match,,,,but have a gud signal without the preamp,,so with the "LNA4ALL" I should be fine. Antenna is 75Ohm---preamp is 50, ---coax is 75 and RX is 50.....hahaha......fun fun!! Powersupply is RS-70M....I "think" that is large...

Well,, more good news here, Got the dish(BUD)down and home yesterday. It is in PERFECT condx!! Not a single dent, bow or ding. Now I need to find a 3.5 inch post/pole to mount. From the above posts I have more ideas for feeds. Getting closer. Ohhh its 8 foot. If I cant get a good signal...

Good News on my end!!... the man across the road called last night and said come get the dish(BUD) Its a 6-8 foot mesh in good shape, so in the next wek or so I should have a good EMWIN signal to test Joes software on. "2xohwhatever" what type of can did u make the feed out of??? I may use that...

Well...I can now say that the SDRPlay hooked to the feedpoint of my mesh dish will/does work. I am seeing a signal right where it should be. I have recored a IQ file for Joe and wait to hear back on if he can decode the EMWIN data from it. My dish is a Laird DC24(40x24")...I had an extra feed...
