Welcome to SatGuys Paul. Unfortantly the answer to your question is no. The 72.5 bird is to far away from the 101 bird for one dish to pick them up.

D* has a lease on 72.5 until 2008. I really dont look for anything to happen before then.

Dvr newbie here also. The 622 sounds like a better product than the d* R15.

I thought the 72.5 bird used only the even transponders???

I purchased what was described as Zinwell 6x8 SAM-6802 multiswitch off of ebay. It arrived today and when i got it out of the box it was the newer WB68. Can i still use this with a phase 3 dish and 18" dish for locals? My setup is all SD,i have no HD eqipment.

Held my dish in my hand last night and with my wife helping(damn she hates my hobbies), i got a 92 on trans 2. I knew they just used evens on directv 1, just didn't know some was weaker than others.

I have saw some installs that the RG6 would first go into grounding blocks then to a multiswitch and others the RG6 would go to the switch first then grounding blocks. Is their a difference? The switch i have is a 4x4.

The dish 500 already there is for 110/119,the other dish is for 61.5.

I have a dish 500 mounted on a 1 1/4 steel water pipe. I'm getting ready to add 61.5 to my setup. I have a dish 500 with I adapter and a dp dual. My question is could i put the other dish 500 on the same pipe using u-bolts? Didn't know if their would be any problems putting them on the same...
