Testing the new Titanium C138 Performance Plus C Band LNBF

I'm desperate LOL. 5G has struck again and has been pretty much overwhelming my Perf+ Red LNBF for the last 2 weeks. Transponders on 4120MHz and up seem to be much more stable. Anything under is almost unwatchable.

The CW, again - I thought it was moving from 91 W to 93 W but today it was only on 91 W?

It is live again on 91w ITC in 4:2:0. Scans as CW Backup

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I'm not sure. I don't quantitatively know how much the foil is helping to be honest. I'm just throwing ideas against the wall and seeing what sticks.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I don't currently have any test equipment. The sudden interference from Saturday night was over and gone on Sunday. Someone suggested it is possibly testing for the next power up of 5G. I was just a tad fed up and annoyed on Saturday evening. I had a great feed I missed. I'm sure it's inside...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I wish I had good news. I guess power up has happened again in my area. Everything is pretty well gone again, with the Perf Plus C238. It worked about 6 weeks. But I guess I'm out of luck now. Really need a blue model, Brian *wink, wink*

    Please review TNAP firmware slot/programming

I figured it would be ok with TV for me because I don't record constantly. Just a show here and there. Or short snips of feeds and I didn't want to keep spinning the drive up and down.

    osmio4k (not plus) streaming

Not to hijack, but you can connect 2 E2 receivers with the same image to send satellite from the server to the client? That's great. I have a mio and H7C.

Why Can't Our Receivers Decode 4:2:2?

I recorded some feeds recently and noticed the 4:2:2 files were nearly 4x the size of the 4:2:0 files of similar length. There is clearly a lot more data involved to process but I still don't understand why there hasn't been a receiver built to handle it without streaming it someplace else...

    ATSC3

Exactly my point. I've tried telling people to relax and wait for things to develop. I'm not missing anything from 3.0 that I cannot find on my 1.0 channels.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I scanned 113w tonight and found a lot of channels in the 3800-3900mhz band to work perfectly. Absolutely no errors. But 3900 is pretty well completely gone. 3980 is watchable for some short periods but error correction eventually loses the battle. I thought it is interesting, but the channels...

Troubleshooting AFN Broadcast Reception on 4.5 Meter Dish

I use this calculator to figure out where the LNB needs to be. Focal distance is measured from the center of the dish to 1/4" inside the feedhorn opening. Prime Focus Satellite Antenna reflector calculation

    Anik F1R is still Alive

I checked earlier today, and I did not find this channel. So don't be surprised if it is not there.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I used regular foil and then some spare reflectix bubble wrap.

    Budget C-band LNB Recommendation

I wouldn't buy anything without 5G filtering. It'll eventually catch up with you.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

The Performance Plus LNBF is still working well for everything 4.0ghz and up. I'm just bummed that I am having issues with the FTA Weather Channel on 127w. But I did try something that does help a little. Much less errors with my Faraday LNB Cover.

    Anik F1R is still Alive

There is now a Canadian Parliament channel up on 107.3w C band. VSE 1. And there has been a Cruisesat mux active for months.

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Well, I got it aligned with good results. I have it tuned for 89w, 101w, 105w, 113w, 117w, 123w, and 129w. I tried 87w for fun before moving the LNB to 89, and I was still able to lock Newsource at 11.7dB, and I still had a viewable signal on LPB. But I have dedicated dishes for 87, 97, 99, and...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I haven't been able to find any nearby source of interference. This just started when Verizon announced they were going "full power" on 5G, whatever that actually means. The new LNBF had it whipped just until the last week. Have I mentioned that I HATE 5G?? My closest cell tower is 2 miles...

OTHER FTA newb trying to set up a GT Media V7 pro need help

I've never used the V7 Pro but I have a V7x5 that works alright as a bedroom TV receiver. You're going to have to enter all of your satellites manually. I'm not familiar with how to run a blind scan, but it should have that feature for sure.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

Now I have noticed signals under 4.0ghz are being wiped out, even with the performance plus model. The FTA Weather Channel on 3980H at 127w is now unwatchable. I'll do more surfing the arc to see, but this seems a bit early for 5G to take over this bandwidth, no? I was expecting until winter to...

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Maybe 76cm by the time you get 18-20 degrees off center. However, 14.6dB on VAKN sure is better than that. I'm not saying this is perfect but I have no easy way to motorize my 1.2m Channel Master dish. My STAB motor is out of commission and they closed down. If I ever find a 1.8m, I will take...

OTHER Aligning a T-90 Toroidal Dish

Very nice. That is one thing I have to work on. My LNB rail may be sitting a little off of the proper angle on one end. I noticed when setting up a few LNBs, my 105w LNB near the center locked a really strong 14.6dB C/n signal for VAKN. But I had a really weak signal on 123w until I twisted the...
