DirecTV CEO: NFL deal for the long haul

I'm actually a fantasy player and in a points spread pickem and the Red Zone is worthless to us. We watch 2-3 tvs with emphasis on favorite team then best matchup/game, etc. There's apps to follow your fantasy scoring.

Tips for retention at end of contract term

Unfortunately customer service is going by the wayside in most businesses anymore. When there aren't many options for some services, being a long time loyal customer really doesn't mean anything like it used to.

    Antenna Question.

I do stand corrected, it was the Easy HD Antenna that was comparable or basically the same thing.

    Antenna Question.

I thought I read that antenna was similar to the ANT751R. I have two ANT751R's and they work great for half the price. My thread is http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/303190-Tired-of-not-getting-quot-local-quot-locals-would-like-some-help! Do a tvfool report because my distances are rather far...

Did you try the red button reset or check your signal meters? Are you sure your signal is lost and really it's something else?

    directv users

Directv was a must for me when finally having our own place to live because of Sunday Ticket and at the time Mega March Madness. Directv is a must for sports fans even though the regional stuff went all to hell but that's not all Directv's fault really but I don't pay for the extra regional...

    What's a guy gotta do?

Your tvfool looks way better than mine and I live in a valley with mountains and ridges. You can look at my thread and see what I am dealing with. I'm sure you wouldn't need antenna facing different directions but you can buy the ANT751R from Walmart shipped for like $37.95. They were out of...

Las Vegas NV OTA questions - tv-tech challenged

I would go to tvfool.com and antennaweb.org and type in your address. Then post the link or post the reports here for people to look at. I got a lot of help by doing that. I received some help here and could probably offer a little knowledge but nothing like the others in this forum. Others may...

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

I hooked up the preamp on Saturday. I could pull the 42's easily (no issues) from the same tower as the 3's but I'm thinking WHSV is having some issues. I see some comments on their facebook about people losing signal. I'm not sure what their issue is but the reception has been more stable since...

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

Of course after all of this, I then found out I could probably get the WHSV locals on D* now. Oh well, I get DC locals on D* and get my closer locals too so it's not all bad.

Hopper OTA Adapter and Cable Question

I actually got better results at http://antennaweb.org/. Also, check out my current thread http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/303190-Tired-of-not-getting-quot-local-quot-locals-would-like-some-help!, it may help you. I got the RCA ANT751R, two of them, and work great.

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

Ok, I have temporarily mounted the antennas on the knee wall in the bonus room of my garage until I permanently mount them in the "attic" above my second floor and may even do it in the "attic" of the bonus room. I mounted one antenna and didn't even aim it, just pointed in general direction and...

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

Thanks Trip, I agree, WVPY can come in on a pop can and string, LOL. I am going to take one out, see if it works in both directions and then if so, mount them and make permanent. I know I got the WHSV stuff from the northern shot but that might have been just the TV3 out of Winchester but I...

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

I ended up buying 2 RCA ANT751R's which seem to be close or the same as the EZ HD Antenna. Denny was helpful but I went the less money route because I don't think the db gain levels of the EZ HD Antenna is going going to help me that much since I could pull what I wanted with the GE UHF antenna...

Thanks tripinva, so should I just go back and get that GE Antenna from Walmart or a different kind that isn't directional?

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

Also, since I was able to receive both directions of channels, should I just go back and buy 2 of those antennas and combine with a splitter to tv?

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

$100 may be out of the question and I understand that. If I can remember, it was 30-1. I'm guessing I don't need anything to reach 100 miles if I can just get the WHSV and WVIR channels on the same antenna.

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

I agree with that. Like I said, I could pull WVIR 60 miles away with antenna in my living room but it was in the opposite direction of the WHSV, etc. I would be happy with an antenna recommendation that is motorized or something so I can watch those channels without having to manually point...

Tired of not getting "local" locals, would like some help!

Link fixed. That antenna actually pulled wvir from 60.5 miles away mounted in my living room. I am really looking for recommendations on an antenna that will do uhf/vhf and 360 degrees. I'm not an expert on this so I thought if I can spend under $100 to at least get what I got with that GE...

    Canceled Service

They could be wrong if they provide dynamic wan ips instead of static. Someone else could have had your ip address then rebooted the providers router/modem and got a new ip. Or, someone used your wifi without you knowing.
