honey, thanks to two kids in three years i've pretty much given up all of my toys and hobbies. i don't mind having to do that, but it sure would be nice if i could get back into the satellite hobby with this setup. we might even get some more of those international channels that you like.

just to add my experience, i bought a 622 in feb and had no problems getting it activated with my old hd pack (in fact i cancelled the sub on my 921 at the same time making the 622 my only hd receiver). so you do not have to have a metallic pack to activate one of the newer receivers. if the...

contrary to what many people are reporting here, my 622 has lower OTA reception than my 921 did. i also have a 7777, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

interesting, when i bought my 1m dish i got it from a canadian mail order outfit because they had better prices than all the american companies and shipping was cheaper than most american companies too!

what is your software version? i installed mine today and had no problems recording two programs.
