A little off topic but still related, Brian, what is your opinion of the STAB motors vs the Chinese motors? I have a few different Chinese motors, but I always get slack problems with them, as well as issues with the plastic covered buttons failing due to weathering issues here in New Orleans.

There's a 10 foot Winegard on my street, but it's high in the air. Plus, it's not in great condition. I think if I do a C-Band takedown, or even another roll-away, it would have to be something special.

I am a big Doctor Who fan... I think the best way to watch the old episodes is on DVD... It's too bad that so many of the early ones were lost.

I would imagine that, being a commercial dish, the Prodelin would outperform stamped metal dishes of the same size. Would be interesting to compare performance between the Prodelin and a Winegard 2076.

The Sathero 500 will not display video on HD or S2 channels. The 600 will. I'm considering returning my 500 for a 600.

My first FTA setup was in May of 2005. I purchased a used Channel Master 1 meter dish from a local uplinker and a Pansat 2700 receiver from Fleabay. The dish is still in service on 125W, and I occasionally still use the old Pansat for dish aiming.

That was a sweet feed satellite :) ...

The Winegard 2076 is widely considered the best dish in that size class, but I would still recommend a 1 meter dish for those DVB-S2 feeds.
