That's possible, one time I removed them and held them in front of me, and still no audio. I turned off the phones, turned them back on, and the audio was back. So far this has been a very infrequent occurrence.

I use the cheapie Kinivo 'phones which have good SQ for the price. Good enough fit for occasional use. Have experienced some cut outs, but most of the time it works as intended. This will be a real winner when available on the Joey.

It could well be the older XD, refurbished, since I don't believe they sell that model any more. Although Roku does have refrubed units of most anything they sold or are selling.

Huh? OK. I'll restate it more clearly, the Roku 2 XD has only a wireless connection. The older Roku XD had two ways to access the internet, a wireless connection or using a 'wired' ethernet connection. Sorry, for any confusion.

I could be wrong, but I thought both XD models are wireless. The original unit was larger and had an ethernet port as well. The newer unit is smaller and rounded.

AMC demands ARE disproportionate to what they have delivered, whether you consider it quality programming, original or not. They are risking the loss of viewers in what is really a niche market, by strong-arming providers. Maybe they are losing sight of the fact they are still a 'cable channel'...
