    Why does FOX HD look the best out off all the hd channels

    As with others in this thread, with my locals, NBC looks the worst. FOX, CW, ABC and CBS all look great. NBC is not terrible, but you can definantly tell it doesn't look as good as the others. Keep in mind, this is all OTA for me.

    622 "Dish Pass" problem.

    Set up a Timer for that kind of stuff, rather then a Dishpass. Timers can be set for only one channel, and also new, once, all, mon-friday, etc. Timers are much better for things like that, and especially TV series.

    VIP 622 Fast Forward

    Yes, don't use ff, but skip forward. IT skips ahead 30 seconds, and the skip back is 10 seconds. If you press the skip forward button as soon as the show goes to commercial, usually pressing it about 5-6 times will get you directly to the when the show starts again.

    With my 942, HDMI is a little sharper, but the colors aren't as bright. I like to use the component.

    IF you want to sale it, you will need to have it taken off your account. Other then that, and making sure there are no problems with your bill, you'll have no problems selling it to someone.

    Before you go thorugh the throuble of doing that, just make sure the antenna cable is plugged into the right thing on the back of the 622. It most likely is, but just check. The reason I say that, is because there has been a few posts on here where the installer put the cable onto the UHF...

    If you got another 942, you would have to pay a $5 additional reciever fee, and another $6 DVR fee, so your bill would go up $11 a month.

    Just hit the DVR button twice to skip through the extra on demand screen. It doesn't really take any longer to get to the DVR recordings.

    The installers get the same package as when Dish ships it to you. Some people have gotten component cables inside the box, but most people don't. There doesn't seem to be any ryme or reason for it...

    YOu will need one 622, one 211, and one 311(I think thats what it is). Or you could just get one 622, and one 211, and just feed the 622's output 2 to your SDTV. If you did that, you would be able to have DVR functions on your SDTV. For what dish you would need, it depends on where you live...

    the 625 doesn't have a lease fee, since it is the first reciever. With the 622, you pay a lease fee regardless of whether it is your only reciever or not.

    Well if it is only on 61.5 and you can't get that, then you can't really do anything...
