I was a 20yr subscriber to Dish and just cancelled on 10/20. I just could not get past the equipment fees and 2yr agreement to get a lower price. I got YTTV and had them both for 2 months to see if I would actually like it. Unfortunately Dish lost and i finally dropped them a few days ago...

I have all kinds of issues. It is extremely problematic now because I lost a fox channel in the Tribune dispute. My only way to watch nfl games without going to the tuner on the tv is through ota on dish. I would think they would never want a subscriber to leave the dish ecosystem.

My system is fried. New receiver coming on Wednesday. The receiver is constantly rebooting and comes up and says it needs to format the HD. Watched a lot of OTA yesterday.

Only about 2hrs worth. I can't record anything, the HD is shot. It keeps rebooting and wiping the hard drive every couple of hours.

Yes. As long as you have 1 day on autohop. All your OTA shows on the Big 4 will allow autohop. Yes it was the school closing ticker that caused the problem. Autohop worked this week.
