Can't find Internet, but I-Connection is fine

Exact same problem. I'm using 1.4 still, but it just stopped working this morning at 3:50 am per the log. It had been working for months, and it just stopped. And it still won't connect to the internet now, even though my connection is fine. I missed most of the Stern show this...

TimeTrax Must Release Fixit Patch for Software Right Now

Any word on progress here? The internet connectivity issue dumped yet more of my recordings yesterday.

Those don't really help me. Because TT doesn't create a file until its finished with the recording, so I can't grab the 30 minute chunks halfway through the 5 hour show. I.e., I don't really care about having the file split into 30 minute chunks for utility purposes. I need TT to do it so...

    Recording Howard Stern

I just need the thing to be able to do a simple splice of the long recording into either 20 minute or 30 minute files. I do this easily right now with the free recording software I used for FM radio stuff. That way, I could take the sections of the Stern show that have aleady recorded with...

TT needs a file length splice option. For example, I want to record a 5 hour Stern block every day from 6-11am. No Perfect Track or Split Track crap, just record the whole block. But I'd to split each file into 30 minute segments. Right now, as far as I can tell, the software won't do this.

    Recording Howard Stern

96Kbps Stereo mp3. Turn off perfect track, split track and that crap. That just introduces reliability problems, I've found. One thing they badly need is a file splice option. E.g., I want to record 5 hours of Stern's show, but I'd like each file broken into 30 minute segments. As far...

TimeTrax Must Release Fixit Patch for Software Right Now

How about what I suggested? That is, require internet connectivity everytime you start the application, but not require it 24/7. That way, the user can shepherd the application during startup to make sure everything connects, and then it can safely be left on for the next day or however...

TimeTrax Must Release Fixit Patch for Software Right Now

OK. To clarify, I'm a paying customer that actually likes the core of what the product can accomplish that merely said a 24/7 internet connection policy to combat piracy was irrational, especially given the massive reliability recording concerns it would cause. Beyong paying for the product, I...

Program keeps shutting down on it's own.

I don't so much care that their servers are down now -- that happens. The very idea of requiring 24/7 internet connection is simply ridiculous. That its there to addresss piracy paraonia is simply baffling. A patch needs to remove it immediately. That would be very simple. No "new...

TimeTrax Must Release Fixit Patch for Software Right Now

TimeTrax's requirement that a computer be connected 24/7 to their home servers via the internet to address the company's own piracy paranoia is, and I think I'm being fair here, ridicuous. There is no other way to put it. Should the smalliest problem occur -- home servers going down...

    Shutdown Code 117

I'm getting the same code. They'd get a pass if this was a Sirius tech difficulty. That its caused by their ridiculous 24/7 internet connection policy for their own piracy paranoia makes it outrageous.

Program keeps shutting down on it's own.

Not a happy camper does not even begin to describe it. Let's just say what's on all our minds. The entire idea of 24/7 internet connection to home servers for some sort of piracy paranoia is absolutely ridiculous. There really isn't a lot to say, and erodes my confidence in the competence of...

Can't find what I record on Time trax.

Yes. I actually don't even use that computer for email or internet browsing, but I still run NOD32 on it.

TimeTrax Recast v1.4 Blue Screen on Timer Recording

I had the same issue (Dell Dimension running XP SP2 with the Audigy soundcard). Right now, I have TimeTrax running on a different computer, so its not an issue (but I don't want to leave that computer connected to the internet 24/7 every week of the year, which is yet another issue, oddly)...

Can't find what I record on Time trax.

Its a good thought, but that's not it. I have the view hidden and system folders option checked for Windows Explorer. The whole thing was so weird, I blew about half an hour one night seeing if I could locate the files with the built in file finder and another applicaiton I grabbed...

Where do you see an "analog mix" option there?

Can't find what I record on Time trax.

Me too. Strangest damn thing I've ever seen, and I've probably installed and run thousands of applications over the last 2 decades. Timetrax actually erases the directory in which the shows are supposed to record. And it creates a Timetrax Temporary directory on my C:\ drive. Its...
