Does anybody know why Columbus, GA has no locals at all? Not Dish nor Directv! This is very frustrating!

Can you pick up Columbus, GA locals with an OTA antenna? I live in Phenix City and they all come in fine for me. All Columbus stations are broadcasting in HD.

Right now I have AbsoluteHD and don't want to be forced to switch to the higher priced TurboHD. If I take this offer of free HBO/Starz, does that constitute a program change and they will zap me with Turbo?

This concerns me because my father-in-law "moved" to Atlanta to get their HD locals. He currently has a 129 setup. He lives in Ozark, AL, near Dothan. Will he fall under the 61.5 spotbeam? If so, he will need to get a 61.5 dish installed. He would have to do it himself since his service address...

So Green Bay is now showing HD locals. I take it these are on a spot beam so there's no chance I can "move" to watch my beloved Packers down here in Alabama. Is this correct?

I noticed my OTA dropouts had returned tonight and discovered that they had switched me back to L405! Gimme back my 409!!!!

Didn't the 622 have issues with HDMI a while back or has that been fixed through subsequent software updates? I checked about a year ago and much preferred component as the hdmi looked washed out.

L4.01 fixed my Fox OTA dropout issues but now my CBS OTA is starting to act up with occasional freezes and loss of signal. Twice since I got L4.01, my 622 has lost all OTA channels and I had to reboot to get them back. WTF????

I would consider upgrading to the 622. The games will be broadcast around noon Eastern time when most of us will be at work. Get the 622 and record them to watch when you get home.

I'm considering upgrading to the 622 and moving my 811 to a different room. I want the Bronze package (no locals) and have no phone line to connect. I have the two dish setup with legacy lnb's & switch. What monthly cost am I looking at with all the various fees?

I currently subscribe to the HD package and Voom for $14.99 plus a $5 access fee. Will I still be able to subscribe at that cost or will they bump me to the new stand-alone HD package at $29.99? That would be a huge increase.
