    Hopper phone connection

    On a related topic, does anyone know what the ringer equivalence number (REN) for a Hopper is? I'm having trouble with my Ooma system - the house phones only ring once (the wireless Ooma HD2 keeps ringing). I have 3.9 RENs hooked up plus two Hoppers.

    During my upgrade from Hoppers to HWS's, the tech didn't know that you could backup your timers, favorites, and settings on the remotes! Glad I mentioned it - he was amazed. BTW, he was otherwise a very good tech. Brad

    Make sure you ask for a Hopper with Sling if you want that capability. I used to have a regular hopper with a Sling Adaptor, and the HWS works better (and it has additional benefits like transfers to iOS and Android (soon!) devices. Faster, too. Brad
