As of today May 10, 2017, doing a number of scans with microHD, nothing of DW coming in ;( Getting zero signal on 103w TP 4140 V 30000.

Thanks ke4est. I have a few LNBF's laying around to play with. I'm assuming Lat/Long/Skew settings should be same as for any FTA offset dish....?

Recently picked up a couple of these dishes...one for free the other for $15. Good tinker material. Now that winter's coming will have time to play and see what comes up if anything. If you see this ke4est, what LNB is that in your pictures? Fun stuff eh?

HUGE THANKS TO "toucan-man" & "ke4est" !! You guys are amazing....and fast too. Really thought I was dead in the water and time to send the microHD back ! I'm back in English mode and should be able to reinstall my saved settings. Beers are on me in the pub guys!!!!

Turned on my microHD this morning and found the entire menu diplays corrupted with strange foreign letters. Russian? Greek? In short, it's totally unusable and tried a couple fixes to no avail. Attempt 1) Loaded a thumb drive with my backup settings I'd saved about 4 weeks ago...

I've had Firefox, Internet Explorer, & Chrome installed for quite some time without a glitch until this. So far, the charge hasn't hit my CC, but did receive an email confirmation on the order. I won't be tempting fate with a 'test' order...better leaving well enough alone and sit waiting...

Just tried ordering the microHD with the promo code offer. Got thru the process, clicked on proceed in checkout and NOTHING. The page refreshes itself, but no order confirmation or indication that the order 'took' . This whole process happened TWICE. The second time after clearing cookies...

This looks to be the same file I'm using on two 6100's with good result. Downloaded a copy from Coolsatusa.com in June 2009, tho this site no longer exists, appeared to be the legitimate Canada/USA distributor for Coolsat.

SUCCESS !!!! After almost non-stop searching, came across a tread that saved the day! By waiting for the CHECKING sequence in the boot process and pressing the OK key several times....a MENU screen showed up on the TV. I almost passed-out ;) This gave me a choice of update methods. Used USB...
