I'm pretty sure I saw some movie on there recently that was in HD during prime time. KCOP's signal has never been really good where I live, though.

Then it seems that KTLA's digital signal has been in a state of flux for quite a while. I hope they get their act together before Feb. 2009. For the past few days, the signal strength has been up at a higher level for me again.

Does anybody know if DISH receives and distributes the digital signal, or the old analog signal? I'm guessing it's still the analog signal, but I can say that their digital signal (which I can get with an indoor antenna) has been having some issues lately, including wild signal fluctuations, and...

DISH also won't sell WWOR or WSBK in the Los Angeles market, presumably for the syndication exclusivity issue. If you are far enough away from the local stations' transmitters, like in Barstow or Death Valley, you can get WWOR and WSBK, though. (Yes, those far-off places are in the L.A. market.)

I keep wondering what the connection is between: first, the disappearance of WWOR from the supers on the qualifying page; then, the movement/renaming of WBZL and KSWB (CW-E/W); and finally, the mirroring of KTLA and WPIX to the 25x channel number range. Now it seems that all the supers but WSBK...
