    So this weekend I successfully used my 12v power inserter. The dish is about 150 feet away due to a tree issues . I adjusted the voltage to 21 at the dish. The buck converter fit perfectly in the P21 housing and easily was connected to the coax block.

    When off-grid using solar it is much more efficient to step up 12v to 21v than to convert 12v to 110v then back down to 21v. Using an existing P21 the board easily replaces the 110v board and connects to the coax block. I will let you know

    Looking at the circuit board I see it is DC. Plan to replace the step down board with a step up board to go from 12v to 29v.

    I would like to power my SWM dish with the 12v system in my RV. My question is: Is the 21/29v output to the dish DC or AC?

    2 LNB Para todos dish and HD

    I have an Hd reciever and I have a Para Todos oval 2 LNB dish. Do I really need the third sat C LNB? If I have an extra LNB is the combiner just a diplexer?
