First problem, The picture freezes but the audio keeps keeps going. Second problem, I record locals in HD from a rooftop antenna. I can watch a show live and it comes in perfect, yet when I go back and watch the recording, the show will have moments that jump forward and I'll miss a few seconds...

I am switching to Directv from Dishnetwork. I currently have a VIP-622 and am well stocked with UHF remotes to run all the TV"s on the second tuner. Directv is bringing a HD-DVR and a SD-DVR. Any chance I can run the SD-DVR with the Dishnetwork UHF remotes? Thanks.

I had my 622 replaced no less than five times because of the rebooting issue. The latest has also rebooted a few times. I think when 18 months is up it will be bye bye E*.

Hooked up new 622 at noon and it ran perfect till I shut it off(11:00 PM). I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Could the fourth receiver do the trick???? Too bad I had to send back 40+ DVR events with old unit.

My 622 reboots every 6 hours. I have it on all day tuned to a Sirius music channel, and go to TV in the evening. This is my third receiver, and they all did the same thing. 18 month commitment ends in September. I think I will be looking for other options at that time.:mad:

After a year with Dish HD, I find I have 30 channels of content I rarely watch. I can only get 2 networks in HD via OTA antenna, but my HD hours are from them. Would I get an HD pack after my 18 month contract is done? Probably not. I'll take the locals in HD first.

It took a week but the same problem is back. Now it is like clockwork. Power on at 6:45 AM and reset at 12:30 PM. And to top it off this morning I had a message that the harddrive is corrupt. Hopefully there is a software upgrade soon to fix this.
