    MeTV adds some more affiliates

Here's my actually TV Fool report (from lat/lon, since my new home is not in the database yet). I'm guessing that I'm not going to pick up 50 reliably. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3D1ddac3297bf71b

    ATSC tuner

You could get the CM-7001 HDTV tuner, $139 new. http://www.channelmasterstore.com/HD_Antenna_Tuner_CM_7001_p/cm-7001.htm Not many more of these left still being produced. I have the Samsung DTBH260F, and highly recommend it if you can find one. I also have a Zenith HDV420, but it's ancient...

    MeTV adds some more affiliates

Back in Columbia, MD it was no problem getting DC and Baltimore. Haven't updated my profile yet, but now I'm up in Aberdeen, MD. For now, I'm with Comcast so no AntennaTV for me. Not sure if I could pick up DC from OTA up here or not. It's 60 miles out or so, I think.

    MeTV adds some more affiliates

Great channel. They're giving AntennaTV a run for their money! Now that I've moved to Baltimore, I miss AntennaTV up here (no Baltimore affiliate).

At least it's still coming. :)

Now says 3/11/13 on the website for DC.

Good for them! I guess there is still a lot of demand for an OTA DVR.

NBC Owned Stations Launching Retro Subchannel

Looks like Cozi is playing the regularly scheduled programming this week. :) Good stuff!

NBC Owned Stations Launching Retro Subchannel

Looking thru the schedule, and I don't see most of the shows listed on the website http://www.cozitv.com/ . No Bionic Woman or 6 Million Dollar Man on WRC 4.2. Any idea if each station gets to pick and choose what it wants to play, or do they all show the same stuff?

I get WDDN-LD up here in Columbia, MD. I think it was off the air for a while.

True, but I don't game on a PC, so a graphics card won't help me outside of folding. For what I do the i7 is amazing. Just try "make -j 12 all" with any other processor, and you'll know what I mean. :)

    OTA antenna selection

Good advice. Keep in mind the current CM 7777 pre-amp doesn't have dual inputs anymore.

Help in Getting OTA in Centreville, VA

Your TVFool report looks like mine, tons of 2Edge, and I'm about the same distance (25 miles out). You need a proper pre-amp, not a distribution amp. Consider the ChannelMaster 7777 or 7778. The 7778 should be enough gain since you are close. If you want to keep with your current amp, make...

Do you want a small 3D display?

Just picked up one of these when BB had it on sale for 159. Nice display (hooked it up to an old Zenith 420 OTA tuner for TV), and the 3D looks great on the PS3. I do miss the remote controls, as my old PS3 blu-ray remote doesn't control it. Strange it automatically turns off with the PS3...

    Best/Worst subchannel in your market

Well, MeTV is live now in Baltimore. Looks good, but unfortunately some shows are preempted for local programming. Looks like Cheers, The Bob Newhart Show, some M*A*S*H, My Three Sons, The Donna Reed Show, Sat 10am-1:00pm block, Sun 10am - 2:00pm block (Brady Bunch, some I Love Lucy) are not...

Baltimore is like that, but it looks much better in DC.

Bounce TV coming soon to 3 markets

Glad BounceTV is expanding nicely. I still say it's a good channel, even if it doesn't get much love here. :)

    Simple.TV DVR

2 Coax, 1 in, 1 out (passthru). Just like the ethernet (1in, 1out passthru). Place this in-line between the wall-jack and your TV or cable box. This just uses local network, so your internet speeds don't matter for local playback. If you want to stream outside the home, then you need high...

    Simple.TV DVR

So, anyone picking up the Simple.TV DVR? I figure most of us already have a ROKU and OTA. This little box (plus a USB 2.0 hard drive) gives a cheap DVR solution. https://www.simple.tv/overview $149, plus subscription ($49/yr or $149 lifetime) Supports iOS, Roku and PC browsers using...

    dtx9900 repair

I had a Venturer converter box die on me. I just tossed it. I still have this box, but not plugged in, and a Zenith box. Thanks for the heads up if my DS box doesn't work when I get around to using it again!

advice needed on roof mount antenna.

Thanks for the clarification Jim! Won't the OP need a pre-amp to get stations from 50 miles away? Just asking because I'm only 22mi from the DC towers, and needed a pre-amp on my 8-bay bow tie in order to receive any signal, but I have a long cable run to my TV (60' or more)...

advice needed on roof mount antenna.

Iceberg, Won't the 91XG have too much gain for stations just 8-9 miles away like 2 and 7? Seems like you could pick up the stations 50ish miles away with it (5, 9, etc) pretty well, tho.

    TheCoolTV

I'm using a Tivo, so it will be removed when Tivo gets around to sending a channel lineup update. For now, I've just removed it from my favorites so it's not in the guide. I've kept it as a channel I receive, just incase they start broadcasting something else in it's place. I've also added...

So has anyone's subchannel actually been replaced with anything else yet? 54.2 is still showing a black screen. I'm surprised they are still broadcasting nothing, why not just shut off the subchannel?
