I actually would not know Best Buy delivered and set up my TV. My XBR55A8H received a software update today and now my Sony remote control's my 2020 Roku Ultra.

I would think that that would help prove a lot of technicans correct when they recommend using a separate box to stream with.

Yes mine has Dolby Vision and HDR10,but as I said before for some reason my 2020 Roku Ultra produces a cleaner picture. In fact the Roku Ultra has a setting where I can set the Dolby Vision to stay on all the time,no matter what my resolution is. But I only use it for UHD movies.

If you need another Roku,you will need the 2020 Roku Ultra that does Dolby Vision and Dolby ATMOS. That will wake up your Sony OLED,it definitely helped my Sony XBR55A8H when I stream my UHD movies on Vudu. For some reason the picture just looks cleaner, than when I watch movies on my Android...

You don't have the YouTube app on your 2020 Roku Ultra?.I don't subscribe to YouTube TV,but I did have the YouTube app in my Home section and when I select the YouTube app,on the lower left of the tv screen at the bottom, it says YouTube TV sign in. My 2020 Roku Ultra does not have a YouTube TV app.

Today I looked on my 2020 Roku Ultra and there is Youtube TV access built in my YouTube app.Problem solved? Maybe.

Well I hope you reconsider the OLED option,while I am sure the Sony LED TVs would have a beautiful picture,a Sony OLED TV will have an awesome picture! Yes there is that much difference and Sony OLEDs have Pixel Shift to prevent burn in. Also Acoustic Wave Sound which is impressive.

What's it got? they normally still have batteries,just rechargeable ones.Guess I'm too old school my vision is that Roku's new remote should have had a charging stand,plus volume button and mute on the top,I guess that's too Harmony.

In October,2020 I purchased Sony's Bravia XBR55A8H. it matched all of my requirements for OLED TV for price,picture and sound. I don't play games on my TVs,and Sony's picture and sound is impressive,but I always purchase the Geek Squad extra warranty to protect my investment.

Just face it we are not their targeted audience,we're old fogies!!:biggrin

I'm also paid up also,but I feel like Disney is'nt going to keep their promise of giving us access to the entire Disney library,we shall see.

No you have to understand I am not sports oriented that's where I am coming from no offense intended. I am beginning to believe the answer for those like me is to be able to purchase channels separately,which on some channels is available.

Seeing that YTTV added NFL Network I just cannot justify the price I pay each month anymore so I'm out. I will keep Philo and I have been watching Pluto TV alot more.

If my 2015 Vizio 4K UHDTV ever takes a dump I will be looking real hard at TCL 8K Mini Led Vidrian Roku TV it is suppose to be out at the end of 2020. Of course I would recommend getting the extra warranty,that's what I always do.

Having an 8K UHDTV is just like having a 4K UHDTV anything you watch through the TV is upscaled to 8K. To me it just makes sense unless you have unlimited funds to pay for the bandwith that a 8K movie would use when it might become available.

I use the Roku Streaming Stick+.It was too big to fit into my HDMI 5 but I found out I could request a free HDMI extender jumper cable from Roku. I power mine with the USB cable works great.
