As nelson61 mentioned Microsoft has to change the name of SkyDrive because somehow Murdoch was able to trademark the word Sky. I wonder if they'd have to change to opening of the old superman tv show, can't use up in the sky... any more.

Believe it or not there are DMA's on DISH that don't even have the big 4 in HD much less having an Ion station. The OP should see if he can get his Western arc setup back and get a wing dish for HD locals pointed at 61.5.

Bluegrassboy75, I'd believe DIRT. There's two choices, either keep your WA setup and add a wing dish pointed to 61.5 to get KAIT and AETN in HD or get an EA setup. I don't know if you have the choice or if it's up to the installer. The Memphis SD channels are on 61.5 transponder 18 spotbeam...

If you own, you don't have the hassle of sending a receiver back and paying $25 if you leave Dish.

If you don't want to believe that someone that had a DVR (think 722), AEP or whatever all the channels available after AEP was dropped, that's your problem. Dish put up a wing dish pointed at 77 and had the person sign a new 2 year agreement.

Thanks for the info. I think it's cheaper for me to buy the dish/LNB then pay for a service call. At least it didn't cost you anything, today. I wonder how Dish customers would even know about Jonesboro in HD if it wasn't for satguys? Thought maybe there would be something about it in the bill...

Bluegrassboy, Well dang it, sounds like you had two people that weren't any help and not up to date on things.:( Unless Dish made changes since last weekend, a dish pointed at 61.5 will get you KAIT and AETN in HD and the CBS, NBC and FOX Memphis stations in SD (16X9 letterboxed all around)...

Ice, The western arc SD Memphis channels I get are on sat 110, Jonesboro SD are on 129. So it's not like they all need to be on the same spotbeam. Whatever Dish did to turn on the Mempis SD spot here they should be able to do for HD.
