Would like a PM from a DIRT member about my upgrade options from a 622. Currently 622 with 1 HD and 1 SD set. I want to add HD to second room (SD) and possibly a third HD TV. I guess that would be 1H/2J? Just want to check my options. Thanks for any help.

I will be calling DISh in the next day or two to move mine. I have had DISH HD since day one. I don't care if they try and charge me $1 I will cancel on the spot and go Direct or U-Verse. I have no problem switching. They get my $100 bucks a month or they don't. Their choice.. have a good one

It looks like I can get everything on 61.5 and 72.7. I may just point the DISH 300 @ 72.7 for now and wait for letter or call back in and pay. Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it.

Hmm.. I have a two DISH setup - 110, 119 (DISH 300 I think) and another @ 61.5. I think this was called DISH 500 back in the day..lol I was hoping I could just swing my 61.5 to 129, but I'll have to move it because of how it's mounted on the house. I can't get 129 with this Dish in it's current...

You are SOL like me (Not on 61.5).. Well according to the CSR. I have an extra DISH. I don't know if I can work this out myself with the equipment I have. I guess I need to start reading, pay the money or switch.

Just spent 60 minutes on the phone with support to find out why I'm not receiving any new channels. Conclusion: I need new sat dish setup. I was afraid of that.. Currently on 110, 119, 61.5. She said it would cost me $100 to get new dish.

I called in and they setup a cross-ship. Off topic - I also got Cinemax added for a penny until 2010. It's an old offer, but I just found out about it. Autopay and paperless billing required. Give them a call..they were aware of the issues with some 622 receivers and HDMI.

Yep, last week. No problem getting a new 622. The HDMI port was dead. This was a very early 622.

My leased $299 622 just arrived today. You think I can call them and say I want to buy it now :D ?

Hmm.. interesting. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm under the impression I can run to another TV from the 622 and not have to pay another receiver fee? I was not planning on using the 6K at this time and possibly selling it.

Just thought I would update this... Got my order in and install is on May 27th. CSR said since I already have two dishes, the installer will not install the 1000. I made sure she knew that both the 500 and 300 I have are legacy. I just hope they bring whatever they need to make it work :)...

Thanks for the reply Dan... I only have one cable going to my 6000. The DISH 500 and DISH 300 are connected with an SW21 I believe and one cable runs to my 6K from that switch. Thanks again for the info.
