    Complete Digital In Columbus, Ohio

Well, it's December and there is still no digital simulcasting on 2-78 here in Dayton. Does anybody have information as to when we might see digital simulcasting? Time Warner is taking forever!

More Than One Digital Cable Box

I currently subscribe to Digital Cable from Time Warner with one digital cable box. I have 4 more TV's that I want to connect. My question is, can I buy 4 Scientific Atlanta 2100's off of ebay for my other TV's instead of getting the boxes from Time Warner and paying lease fees for them? I...

    Complete Digital In Columbus, Ohio

Any update for Dayton, Ohio? I just got digital cable and channels 2-78 are still analog. Here in Dayton, Time Warner always seems to be behind of everyone else. I wish I was in Columbus because of the digital simulcasting and that you get more digital channels on the value tier.

Question For If Something Goes Wrong

If I get Dish I know I get the Dish Home Protection plan for 18 months, but what if after that time the receiver goes bad or something. Would I still get a free replacement?

Atlanta Newbie Dropping D* for E*

I would also go with your local installer. I'm in the process of possibly switching to Dish from Time Warner and I much prefer talking to the guy who is going to install the system. It makes me feel more at ease.

Going to Retailer Costs $3 more per month??

That's what I was thinking because I wouldn't think Dish would charge me different. I'm still going to have to do some thinking because I just saw a commercial for a bundle package from my cable company and it looked like a good deal but I'll have to call and see what it all includes. Some of...

Going to Retailer Costs $3 more per month??

No, with locals and the second box the local guy said it was $52.99 for 120 and $62.99 for 180. I'm just wondering why the $3?

Going to Retailer Costs $3 more per month??

I was just about to make an appointment will my local guy for installation until he went over the package costs. They were $3 more a month. $42.99 for 120 and $52.99 for 180 plus tax. Is this right? Maybe I'm missing something but I also called Dish diectly and they were $39.99 and $49.99...

Looking Into Dish Network as Alternative to Cable

When I called my local guy he said that 2 UHF remotes come with the 322. Is he right because I thought only TV2 came UHF with it?

Does Pole Come With Standard Installation?

Well I just called my local satellite guy and he told me all I had to pay for is the pole and cement.

Looking Into Dish Network as Alternative to Cable

How far will the remotes go away from the box? I'm thinking about putting both boxes in the basement and I want to be able to control them from the second floor of my house. Would the signal be able to go through 2 floors?

Does Pole Come With Standard Installation?

Another question. I want 2 322's and I want to be able to use all four tuners on all 6 or 7 of my TV's. Would having the installer wire this be a part of standard installation also? My house is already wired for cable with a main distribution area so I wouldn't think it would be that hard but...

Does Pole Come With Standard Installation?

So you're saying that if I call Dish Network's 800 number then I don't have to pay for the pole and to mount the dish but if I go to a local retailer I might? If that's true I think it makes my decision easy on who to go through.

Does Pole Come With Standard Installation?

Does the pole and installation of the pole come with standard installation for a new customer or does it just depend on what retailer you are dealing with? I'm really hoping that this is free, but if it isn't, how much should I be expecting to pay for the pole and having the guy put it up...

Looking Into Dish Network as Alternative to Cable

I have another question. Does the installer come with a pole to mount the satellite on or do you have to buy one yourself and put it in the ground.

Looking Into Dish Network as Alternative to Cable

You're right. I want a 6 tv system. Now I have another question. Can I get two 322's and connect each one to three tv's? I realize that I would still only have two tuners per box but I could have the second tuner hooked up to two tvs. I hope this isn't too confusing.;)

Looking Into Dish Network as Alternative to Cable

I'm looking into getting a Dish Network system for 6 rooms. What equipment would that require and what would be the monthly lease fee for all of it? Also, I don't need all the fancy things like HD. I just need the standard stuff. Finally, a Super Dish is required for local channels in my...
